Rolex Oyster Perpetual Watches.

In 1926 Rolex developed and patented the first airtight, dustproof and waterproof watch - named the Oyster.
1931 saw the re-birth of the Perpetual (automatic) watch, a self winding mechanism first invented by Abraham-Louis Perrelet.

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual wristwatch has become one of the most recognisable watch designs, over the many years it has been produced, the overall visual design has remained virtually the same.
The Oyster case is used on lots of different models, including the Datejust, Day-Date, Turn-O-Graph, Milgauss, Daytona Cosmograph, GMT Master, Yacht Master, Explorer.
